We’ve added news items from Twitter!
I’m happy to announce that Stock Menulet now displays news items (that is, status updates) from Twitter, in addition to news items from Yahoo!
The feedback on this change has been overwhelmingly positive. There has been near-universal agreement that addition of Twitter items gives the news stream greater interest and immediacy. Inclusion of the symbol AAPL, for example, now shows not only news items about product releases—but also a survey of real-time reactions to the new project.
Try it out! If you don’t like it, then we’ve included a preference item allowing you to disable the new feature.
